Please join us Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at the Riley Hospital North Kids 5k Walk and Festival at Coxhall Gardens (116th & Towne Road, Carmel). The family friendly walk begins at 9 a.m. and will take you through the Village of WestClay homes, playgrounds, lakes and "Village Center." On-site walk registration begins at 8 a.m. The Riley Hospital North Kids Festival will begin immediately following the walk and will run until 4 p.m.
Families are encouraged to bring their red wagons in support of the Riley Children's Foundation. Decorations will be available and prizes will be given out after the walk for the best decorated and most creative wagons.
The Festival will feature a Gardening Tent by Altum's where children can decorate a pot and plant their own flower to take home. The Kids Entertainment Stage will have safety demonstrations from Safe Kids and will also showcase the Noblesville Cheerleaders, animals from the Hamilton County Parks Department, Oogles n' Googles and more.
The Riley Hospital North Pavilion will host free health screenings, edible crafts, a children's photo ID station by the Kid's BMV, Velocity Sports Performance Obstacle Course and the Clarian FANN (Fitness and Nutrition Network) Van. Don't miss your chance to see the LifeLine helicopter, dress up as a surgeon and ride your way through a bicycle safety course.
Ology, a medical spa located at Clarian North, will host a Lipstick Lounge for moms, and dads, where special mini spa services will be offered. Adults can also get a FREE Visia skin analysis to see how well they're taking care of their skin. When hunger strikes, attendees can grab a bite to eat in the Family Picnic Tent from the Stone Creek Dining Company.
