Riley Hospital for Children Partners with The Childrens Museum of Indianapolis

Indianapolis - The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is working with Riley Hospital for Children to keep kids happy, healthy and safe. The partnership, which begins on Saturday, February 2, 2008, includes a Riley Safety Store within the museum and Riley Kids Meals among the museum's restaurant offerings.
This natural partnering of two great organizations invested in the health and development of children will be celebrated Saturday, February 2, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Riley Kids Meal samples will be available along with special discounts on those meals. Special tables in the Welcome Center will highlight some of the Safety Store items, with trained staff to demonstrate how to use them. Riley Red Wagons can also be rented in the Welcome Center, and visitors renting a Riley Red Wagon through January are registered to win their own Radio Flyer Wagon, courtesy of Riley and The Children's Museum!
The Safety Store will stock home safety items including Furniture Corner Cushions Outlet Plugs, Oven Front Locks, Bath Buddy Thermometers, Secure Solutions Childproofing Kits and many other household helps. These items all focus on preventable injuries that account for a large share of childhood injuries. The presence of the Riley Safety store within The Children's Museum Store is also a great way for parents and caregivers to learn more about keeping their children safe and secure.
Families and children dining at The Children's Museum will also have healthier Riley Kids Meals to choose from. The menu was finalized after children voted for their food favorites at a January tasting.
Spokespeople from The Children's Museum and Riley will be available for interviews between 8:30 a.m. and noon.
